A ‘Brand’ is a set of associations people make when thinking about a product, company or organization. It can be in the form of a name, a symbol, a design, a logo, a term, an idea, or a combination. A brand identifies a product or company and sets it apart from others.
‘Branding’ is strategic. It answers the questions of who are you?, what do you do? and what can you do for me? It is what sticks in the minds of people when they think about your company or product.
Consciously or subconsciously, your ‘Brand’ tells people what they can expect from your products and services. It is the implied promise you give to your customers. Successful branding will connect with your target audience, motivate buyers to act, deliver your message (loud and clear!), confirm and reinforce your credibility, and build loyalty within your customers.
